Our prices start at under £2 per cake and include a cake case of  your choice and lots of lovely sparkle to finish off the look.

We have lots of experience and advice to offer if neccessay to get you the perfect look for your big day.

Hire of stands are available in round, square or heart shaped.

Cupcakes are an affordable way to give your big day the WOW factor and we can make a small cake to cut too if you would like to have one.

Junior Bakeoff

Just spent a lovely Saturday afternoon in the company of several youngsters baking  delicious morsels!

It was lovely, they chatted away whilst they chopped, mixed, cut, stirred and splodged their way through 3 recipes!

First on the menu was White chocolate and blueberry cookies followed by Cheesy oakcakes and to finish we had Toffee squares.

They loved every minute and not a crumb was left in sight after they had tucked in and taken home their spoils!

Baking and Me

I adore baking.  It always reminds me of stripping wallpaper, completely theraputic and always worth the effort!

Have been baking my way throught The Art of French Baking by Ginette Mathiot since Christmas and it is glorious, every recipe a winner.

The pictures are beautifully stylised and they really want to make you bake!

About to launch two new ranges this year Brownies and Blondies, same but vanilla based and decorated just like a cupcake.

Amazing for parties. Made them for my daughters 7th  party and they literally had wings! Decorated just like a cupcake the scope is endless.

We had some very sad news recently, one of our very best friends has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and because of this we are donating 15% of our proceeds to this charity from all the brownies we sell.

We are running a few classes this year in Feb, March and June so we are looking forward to planning those and spreading more cupcake joy!

January so far has been exciting with weddings and parties confirmed and lots of lovely things to look forward to as well as the Queen s Jubilee.

Looking forward to 2012 with gusto and especially to our two foodie trips already booked to glean even more exciting cakes ideas…..

Posting a few updates before baking madly commences in 2012.

We are now doing large cakes as well for birthdays and celebrations.

Please get in touch with orders and requests to discuss ideas. Prices similar to giant cupcakes again dependant on the amount of work involved in your request.

Please allow a mimimum of 3 week before delivery when ordering to allow us to source any necessary item before delivery.

Remember we can also do Giant donuts and decorated brownies in a variety of flavours shortly to feature on our website.

Merry Xmas and a Happy 2012

Thanks to all our lovely customers for their continued support and cake ordering this year.

We have had a great time and had loads of fun making all your delicious cupcakes, giant cupcakes, cakes and whoopie pies this year and interpreting some of the more challenging designs!

Probably our most memorable orders were the “Orange Tea” cupcakes; fishfingers, beans and chips, cupcakes for a newly married couple!

Peppa Pig cupcakes, Fireman Sam and Dalek cupcakes to name but a few.

We made cakes for celebs while in Edinburgh, thee oo7 and some pretty famous bands!!

We supported the EIS this year in one of their No Cuts campaigns.

We also took our cupcakes to TASTE this year in Inverleith Park raising awareness for  The Worlds Biggest Coffee Morning, 400 of them all for charity. As well as supporting our local schools and community. Something we are very proud of!

Made our debut in writing recipes for MADE magazine, Edinburgh for their Xmas feature, which was great fun and would love to do more of that!!

Cupcake and Ribbons featured on the BBC news on a Royal Wedding  feature, very exciting.

We made loads of cakes and had the most amazing response from our customers, many of their testimonials are on our website from all over the world!! Awesome, thanks!!

Lots of wedding cakes on the cards and lots of fun events coming up in 2012.

Lots of exciting new ideas to mull over and hopefully get off the ground in 2012.

We are looking forward to it already after a restful week.

Xmas Cupcakes and Corporate Orders.

Wow can t believe it is almost that time of year again when Santa is just round the corner. Going to have to get all our Glitter baubles looked out sharpish.

If you would like to place an order either for presents or larger corporate orders/gifts, we would love to hear from you.

Last year got very busy in December and we only have so many slots to fill so please get in touch and we can get you booked in and you won’t be disappointed.

Our final deliveries will be on Xmas Eve and we won’ t reopen until 1st Jan unless pre arranged with us before hand.

We can also provide Xmas Vouchers starting at £20 this will purchase a delicious box of Supreme Cupcakes and can be redeemed any time during 2012. A fabulous present for a foodie or for something a little bit diferent!!

Teepee Wedding

Amazing wedding venue yesterday when Cupcakes & Ribbons delivered 150 cupcakes , banofee, purple vanilla, choc ginger and raspberry roulade.

A delish combo indeed. There was also a lovely  top tier plain vanilla sponge finished with fondant icing and edible glitter with a beautiful deep purple ribbon.

The venue was at the Dunglass Estate in East Lothian where they had erected a huge wedding teepee a bit like a marquee but a teepee!

Absolutely fab and recommend this gorgous pleace to anyone who is planning a wedding, sublime. lots of Fresh air and country atmosphere, fab.
